Simple Style
  • Javier Ferrer Vidal and Ana Lanfranco had lived in their 1936 Valencia apartment for 16 years when the adjoining property came up for sale. So they bought it — and instantly doubled the size of their space. Keeping the facade untouched, they demolished the boundary walls and added huge windows, keeping the beautiful original tiled flooring intact. The decor shows what a great sense of style Javier and Ana have — not surprising as they are the owners of Lanfranco Simple, considered one of the most beautiful shops in Valencia. Their home is a comfortable mix of family heirlooms, antique Valencian pieces, IKEA, mid century classics, African art and seventeenth and eighteenth century religious art — and a few pieces by Javier, too. Love. More here on AD España.
