French design legend Andrée Putman was so taken with the talent of Spanish architects Gabriel Calparsoro and José Gorritxo that she ended up collaborating on projects with them, the trio working under the name Studio 555. The stunning results can be seen here in her work with Gabriel and José on their own San Sebastian apartment, with its exquisite lines and volume — formal in its rigour, but also retaining a warmth and serenity that makes it very liveable.
