- I've featured the lovely New York home of designer John Derian on here before, but it was such a pleasure to see new photos of his space that a revisit was definitely in order. Located in an 1850s East Village building, John's loft delicately preserves its unique ambiance — originally a garment factory specializing in shrouds, it was a sculptor's home and studio from the 1960s until John's purchase several years ago. There's even a window that overlooks a 19th century cemetery. Love the atmosphere. More here on AD España.
