Artist at Work
  • Today I'm admiring the beautiful studio of Danish artist Karin Birgitte Lund, in the home she shares with her husband, the composer Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen. The house belonged to Pelle's parents originally — Karin's studio was first used by Pelle's father, the sculptor Jørgen Gudmundsen-Holmgreen, while Pelle continues to use the music room built for him as a teenager, where he could practice the violin without disturbing the family. And if you live in or visit Denmark, you can see Karin's work every day — her designs are on the Danish banknotes. More here on Bo Bedre.
