- In ruins when she first saw it, decorator Montse Esteva was able to look past the sorry state of this Barcelona townhouse and see its beautiful architectural details — the high ceilings, large windows, the French-influenced slate roof. But it was the lovely courtyard garden that she truly fell for — and made her buy it. Keeping as much of the period details as possible, Montse also added more windows to increase the natural light inside. Decorated in an elegant mix of antique and modern pieces, her home is now a warm and personal space that looks out onto a garden oasis. Perfect. More here on Nuevo Estilo.
