- After years of living abroad in Berlin, London and Copenhagen, architect Karen Selmer and director Lars Torvik decided to move back to their native Norway, to set down roots and raise a family. They settled on a charmingly quirky corner apartment built in 1899, with beautiful arched windows, stucco and carved paneling — and some unusually shaped rooms.
