I was so intrigued by the lovely email I received recently from British artist Claire Brewster, describing her collaboration with award-winning interior designer Jorge Canete. Each year Jorge invites an artist to stage a temporary exhibition in his home, a stunning chateau near Geneva in Switzerland. For her exhibition, Claire has created the imaginary world of a well-travelled eccentric collector — one who seeks to amass the best collection of flora and fauna, only to lose control of the creatures she is trying to possess. Lovely, poetic work. You can view the exhibition by appointment only until the end of December 2014.
