Located in the Italian region of Lombardy along the banks of the Lambro, what was once an abandoned industrial building is now the stunning retreat of multidisciplinary artist Juan Lealruiz and his wife. Juan himself drew up the plans for the renovation, designing the space to their specifications. Divided into two parts, one features a workspace, bathroom and a master bedroom on a mezzanine, the other, more social in nature, has the living room, kitchen, dining room and guest bedroom. Surrounded by lush vistas and the mountains, it's the ideal artist retreat. More here.
