- Located in Schöneberg, a west Berlin neighborhood known for its art galleries, cafés, and fashion boutiques, the tiny apartment of Peter Fehrentz was in a highly desirable spot but in less than desirable condition — cramped and dark, it also had such oddities as a three foot wide bathroom with a tub that could only be reached by climbing over the loo. Fortunately, Peter, an interior designer, photographer, stylist and set designer, brings a trained eye to the potential in even the most unprepossessing of spaces. Starting from scratch, he had all the interior walls removed and began again, designing many of the fixtures (and the couch) himself along the way. Three years later, it's a warm space, in deep charcoal greys highlighted with beautiful jewel-toned colours. Love. More here on Dwell.
