- Brazilian designer, shop owner and entrepreneur Hossein Jarouche and his partner, interior and product designer Ana Strumpf, live most of the year in their spacious São Paulo apartment, but staying in their much smaller New York loft pied-à-terre has been a revelation — Hossein loves how easy it is to live in. It's also been a labour of love for the pair, too, with all furnishings and objects sourced from thrift stores and flea markets around Brooklyn, set off by a serious art collection that includes Alex Katz, James Rosenquist and Damien Hirst. A retro bicycle in the loft looks like part of the decor, but in fact it's transportation — Hossein loves being able to bike, walk and ride the subway in New York — all things he doesn't do in São Paulo. Great style. More here on Casa Vogue.
