Turin-based fashion designer Silvia Reinhold spends a lot of time in Paris for work — and, growing tired of a restless and impermanent existence living in hotel rooms while there, decided to buy a house. She knew exactly what she wanted — stucco walls, fireplaces, hardwood floors that creaked when stepped on, tall windows overlooking treetops. Happily she found her dream home, just outside Paris. Throwing herself into making it her own, she painted, wallpapered and decorated it on her own, revelling in the process. The lovely result is a warm and personal space that's infinitely welcoming.
