I'm mesmerized by artist Heather Hansen's extraordinary series Emptied Gestures — kinetic drawings created by carefully choreographed (and quite physically demanding) movements on giant paper canvas while holding pieces of charcoal in each hand. The results are beautiful abstract pieces with very free, sweeping and symmetrical lines. See more of Heather's work on her site here.
