- Photographer Victoria Will used an early photographic technique called tintype for her portraits of actors attending this year's Sundance Festival, with stunning results. Tintypes are photographs made by printing a positive image onto a thin sheet of metal, and were most popular in the 1860s and 1870s. I love how this technique transforms the subjects — instead of the usual glossy celebrity photos, these are deeply personal portraits of familiar faces. See more on Victoria's website here.
