As a child Anne Dorte Michelsen built houses from Lego and dreamed of becoming an architect. As it turned out she was rather successful with music instead, but to this day she can't see an old house without getting the urge to save it. The home she shares with her partner Carsten has been lovingly restored by the pair, keeping such lovely details as the beamed ceilings and huge windows, while dodgy floors have been replaced with heated tiles and a door added so they can walk out to the garden.
