I was glancing through the Vogue archives recently when I came across the gorgeous Aspen retreat of beauty entrepreneur Aerin Lauder. A light-filled ski lodge, it enjoys stunning views of Aspen Mountain outside while cultivating a luxe modernity inside — lovely classic pieces by mid century greats such as George Nakashima and Hans Wegner are set against simple white backgrounds and warm reclaimed wood.
