- Moving to Berlin after living for several years in London, Eve and Gerard Ruecker dreamed of a bright and spacious home in the middle of the city — one with a garden for their children to play in. What they found was a dilapidated old factory building — quite different from what they originally envisioned, but they fell for it and bought it anyway. Now it's been completely transformed into a light-filled home with open flowing spaces by the Berlin architectural firm + Quehl Miethe, with Scandinavian touches (the owners are Swedish) such as the masses of natural light, wood floors throughout and a sauna on the top floor — plus a garden for the family to enjoy. Lovely. More here on Nuevo Estilo.
