Giveaway!!
  • When Chronicle Books was kind enough to offer me the opportunity to review the new book Happy Home by textile designer Jennifer Paganelli, I was intrigued. As you know, I tend to gravitate towards pale, minimalist interiors and colours, so Jennifer's book, a feast of brilliant colour and pattern, was a definite change for me. But though I expected colour, what was even lovelier was just how inspiring and cheerful this book is. Jennifer gives clear and detailed instructions on creating 21 sewing and craft projects that will transport you to sunnier climes instantly, and it's amazing what a brightly hued bag, cheery patchwork pillow or ruffly dress will do to one's mood — even more when you can take pride in having made it yourself! For a chance to win your very own copy from Chronicle Books, leave a comment with your favourite colour and your email address below before midnight EST on June 13 2012. The winner will be announced on June 14 2012. Good luck!!

P.S. For an extra chance to win, follow automatism on Facebook — I'll be giving away my personal review copy there!
UPDATE June 14, 2012: We have a winner! Congratulations to Kerry of First Time Fancy — enjoy! Thanks so so much to everyone who participated — the giveaway is now closed.
