- This elegant attic apartment in Modena, Italy, is the home of a lawyer and his family — and of a serious collection of music, movies and antique furniture. The architectural firm ZPZ Modena was called in to design the home as a series of spaces — besides the living areas, display areas were needed for the staggering 30,000 music CDs and 4,000 movie DVDs (plus another 12,000 CDs stored away out of sight). The result is a fluid environment in white, with a clever series of storage solutions for the various collections that keeps the apartment feeling open and surprisingly uncluttered.
