- Not everyone likes their chalet to be rustic. The Chalet Béranger by Parisian designer and interior architect Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, does take a traditional approach on the outside — but inside it's a futuristic vision, all aerodynamic curves and sleek floating furniture. Luxe touches like a suspended steel staircase, a game room and a 200-square-foot Jacuzzi area covered in Vals quartzite stone definitely make this more than a simple ski retreat. I can see Austin Powers hanging out here. More on Duchaufour-Lawrance here. Via Co.Design.
