- Located in Dalarna, Sweden, the beautiful 1930s functionalist home of Susanne Gillerås, her husband and the youngest of their four children is a treasure trove of auction bargains and industrial finds. Until recently Susanne ran the Norrgården shop, which offered vintage furniture plus crafts from local silversmiths and potters. Sourcing pieces for the shop led to interesting expeditions to industrial auctions (where she and her business partner often found themselves the only women there) as well as to the usual house auctions for furniture. With her business partner now living in Colorado, the shop closed several months ago as it was no longer practical to run, but Susanne's interest in objects with a patina of history lives happily on in her stunning home. Love. More here from Residence.
