- An old barn in Canada now finds itself settled in Connecticut, where it's been converted into a weekend retreat for a family of four. Designer Russell Groves was careful to retain the structure of the original barn, installing electricity, plumbing and other structural necessities without changing it internally. In terms of decor, Shaker style was a huge influence, balanced by more modern pieces.
