- I missed this Dwell story when it first appeared, so I was quite excited when I came across it this week. Eero Saarinen’s legendary Miller House in Columbus, Indiana — designed in 1952 for the late industrialist J. Irwin Miller and his wife, Xenia, with interiors by Alexander Girard and landscape architecture by Dan Kiley — opened to the public for the first time this past May. Here are a few shots of this amazing home to give you an idea of what it looks like — read the Dwell article (and see more images from the slideshow) here. The attention to detail is extraordinary — this house was truly put together with care and love.
