Pretty Contrasts

  • This relaxed and lovely Danish home is an interesting mix of influences — its traditional pale Scandinavian tones work beautifully with the art, porcelain and rustic benches found in the market in Bolivia, while antlers from South Africa and Greenland add a sculptural touch throughout. Local flea market finds such as the Arne Jacobsen Egg chair round out a fascinating collection of objects — including a wonderful mini version of the ship Thor Heyerdahl built to sail across the Atlantic in. All these different influences are brought together by the discerning eye of owners Jane and Jacob, who definitely know how to shop while traveling. More here on Femina.
