A Happy Find
  • Several years ago Bjorn Agertved and Maria Krogh moved to Christianshavn, at the time a rather rundown neighborhood in the city of Copenhagen. In a city that can be very expensive to live in, it was the only area where they could find an affordable apartment. Time has shown it was an astute move — the area has been revitalized since they settled there, attracting a creative community of artists, designers, photographers and others, drawn to the vibrant multicultural environment. Furnishing their home with flea market bargains and auction finds (the site Lauritz.com is a favourite), Bjorn and Maria are right in their element — and the converted stables in the backyard, now a studio and gallery for Bjorn, is the happy finishing touch.
