- Searching for the ideal space to house their unique collection of modern furniture, Jean-François and Sophie eventually settled on an apartment consisting of six rooms in a row, located near the Cinquantenaire in Brussels. This layout works as a show room as well as a home, as Jean-François is an antiquarian and often receives clients in his home, where they can view iconic pieces by Jean Prouve, Gino Sarfatti, Le Corbusier or Verner Panton. The one drawback was that it was rather dark inside — so they promptly acted on the advice of friends, who recommended that the space be "awakened" with colour. Now their home sings with pea green, duck egg blue, bubblegum pink, cherry red and Prussian blue — all a bright and happy backdrop to their beautiful collection.
