Fond as they are of their furniture design icons The Egg, Ant and PK22 (pieces instantly recognisable to mid century modern design fans), Mads and Johanna are utterly comfortable placing these classics side by side with their quirky vintage finds from country flea markets and auctions — they want a home for themselves and their two daughters, Freya and Ella, rather than a show room. So, art and photographs are displayed cheerfully alongside, while Johanna breaks up the severity of the black and white look with colourful ceramic vases, sculptural branches and richly hued flowers.
