- The family of four living in this relaxed Norwegian house has a similarly easy going approach when it comes to decorating for Christmas — they like a mix of new, home-made and inherited. The tree is placed so it can be seen (and enjoyed) from the kitchen, living and dining rooms. A huge century-old star (made from a tin roof) was found in Pennsylvania serves not only as a symbol of good luck but a holiday symbol, too. A platter filled with vintage baseball, petanque and cricket balls look surprisingly festive. And they're not ashamed to use fake evergreen garlands on the staircase banister, with colourful butterflies dotted here and there to add a little humour, too. Definitely the home of a family that enjoys Christmas! Article (in Norwegian) here on Bo Bedre.
