- What was once a Paris repair shop is now the fascinating home of high end bag designers Isabelle Puech and Benoit Jamin. The space, in rough shape when they purchased it, needed to be renovated to be habitable, so they first worked out how they wanted to organize the interior — for a start, they knew they wanted to keep the living area and working studio separate. Their solution was to group the rooms around a courtyard, where the windows could overlook the tropical plants and ferns there. When it came to the decor, the industrial atmosphere of their home fit perfectly with the couple's taste for recycled items, vintage and industrial design — their many finds, hunted down in antique shops and local bazaars around the world, are what makes their place such a fascinating living cabinet of curiosities. And what could be a better or more stimulating environment for two creative people? More (in French) here. Via Marie Claire Maison.
