    Fresh From the Louvre
This sounds like a fun — and sumptuously illustrated — read. In his new book Food in the Louvre (Flammarion; $19.95), Yves Pinard, the head chef at the Grand Louvre restaurant beneath I.M. Pei’s pyramid, provides an animated commentary of forty works from the renowned museum and includes a sampling of his own recipes inspired by its paintings. Via @artnetdotcom.
