- The elegant Paris home of stylist Marcel Marongiu shows the influence of his childhood surroundings — his father is French, his mother Swedish — with its mix of beautiful 18th and 19th century furniture and chalk white walls. And though the pieces may be traditional, their casual arrangement within the apartment is completely modern — as are such additions as the simple, beautifully billowing curtains and the lovely Indian cabinets and doors. All these elements add up to welcoming and serene space that has a relaxed heart under its beautiful exterior.
