- Los Angeles-based Sander Architects recently unveiled their design for Grace, a restaurant with an edible facade. The firm was interested in the idea of "a building that was both environmentally and people friendly," to which end they encorporated a "vertical garden" consisting of outer walls covered with fruits, vegetables and herbs that passersby can pick from and enjoy. Fascinating concept. Full design boom story here.
