Love these striking magazine covers for Country Fair magazine by John Hanna, whose work I discovered on a great uppercase post. Curious to know more about the illustrator, I did a little Google detective work and discovered here and here that Hanna was an Australian who arrived in London in 1947, making his living as a commercial artist and cartoonist there until 1962. During his time in London he created over 50 covers for Country Fair alone, so with a bit of luck we'll someday see lots more of his beautiful work.
