- The 17th century home of stylist Marthe Desmoulins and her partner is a modern interpretation of the cabinets of curiosity that were in vogue at that time, with nature as the main theme throughout their home — walls are alive with flowery wallpaper, organically shaped lighting and furniture (much of it sourced from flea markets) appears in each room as though it grew there, a bedspread has a design inspired by tree trunks, and natural pigments set off images of insects and animals. A fascinating home, it must be instinctive, too — Marthe's grandfather was a professional gardener. More details (in French) here. Via Marie Claire Maison.
