Amazing piece of writing by Paulo Coelho. Go see.
    Rare Audrey Hepburn Photos
Tina of the always lovely English Muse blog has a great post this week about a series of rare photographs of Audrey Hepburn, taken by longtime Hollywood photographer Bob Willoughby, who recently posted 46 of his unpublished photos of her on his flickr page.
    d. sharp journal
Lovely and interesting blog by Denise Sharp, an amazing letterpress designer. Read it and be inspired.
Art and Film Friday by Nathan Abels
Artist Nathan Abels (whose wonderful work I've mentioned here earlier) also has a great blog called minutiae. I quite love his series of posts called Art and Film Friday, where Nathan takes stills from a film and matches them with similar contemporary artwork. This week it's David Lynch's Fire Walk With Me, so it's a creepy though as always fascinating post.
    Top 10 Environmental Disaster Stories
Liz Jensen picks a diverse list of authors who've tackled this sombre subject, ranging from Dr Seuss and John Steinbeck to Margaret Atwood and John Wyndham.
    Peepshow's In Between Show
Sneak preview of London-based illustration collective Peepshow's new show of personal work, opening this week at Dreamspace Gallery. Lots of great work. Via Creative Review blog.
    Darwin and Degas
I'd love to see this. Endless Forms: Charles Darwin, Natural Science, and the Visual Arts is a traveling exhibit organized by Connecticut’s Yale Center for British Art (YCBA) and the UK’s Fitzwilliam Museum. The exhibition highlights the extent of Darwin's impact on 19th century artists, from Monet to Rheinhold — and how art, in turn, shaped Darwin. More info here, too. Via Seed Magazine.
    Lemon Yogurt Cake
This sounds perfect for the finish to a casual warm weather dinner with company — light and rather healthy, too. Via Tastespotting.
