- Photographer Paul Massey's renovation of a Victorian terrace house in London transformed it from a clutter of badly laid out, tiny dark rooms to the sunlit open plan space you see here. Though a veteran of renovations — this is his tenth — it was the largest project Paul had done, as he decided to do the whole space at once rather than working on a room at a time. Since this meant several weeks of no hot water, no electricity and no floor, Paul and his 10-year-old daughter, Daisy, left the builders to it and piled into their Sixties VW campervan for a five week trip around the Continent, happily collecting housewares along the way and, of course, taking lots of photographs.
