- Colorado-based artist Nathan Abels emailed me yesterday about Two Roofs, a new print of his that's now available online. Nathan writes, "I've worked as a part-time aerial survey photographer over the past two years and the image I based this drawing on is from a photo I took around Denver." What appears to be a delicately rendered abstract study of form gradually reveals itself upon closer inspection to be the rooftops of two large condo buildings. The Two Roofs print itself measures 7.5" x 7.5" and is in a limited edition of 50, with each print priced at $39.00 each. Printed on thick, high-quality Crane Museo Max 365gsm paper using archival pigmented inks, it's accompanied by a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. You can purchase a Two Roofs print here, and you can see Nathan's portfolio here, too. Do go and have a look at the rest of his work — it's wonderful.
